Rihanna threw a ball to raise awareness and funds for her foundation, The Clara Lionel Foundation, which she began in 2012. The charity is mission is to help improve health, education, as well as, art and culture in under privileged areas. She wore one of her favorite designers, Zac Posen, who has dressed her for events such as the 2008 Grammies. She arrived in a strapless, sleek, red dress and then performed in a strapless black gown.
